About Me.

My name is Dr Tom Heaton and I live and work in the Northwest of England. I am a writer and busy father alongside my professional role of a doctor, specialising in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine. 
This project is exploring the many other aspects of the world that don't quite fit into my daily job. However, many of these themes are highly synergistic with my clinical work. Indeed, these are ideas that I think are valuable for everyone, such is their broad nature and level importance. My dream is that you can use this site as a hub for exploring these essential ideas with me.
